“Annie K came into my life in 2018 and transformed my outdated condo into a home I am so proud to live in. From the moment I met her, it was as if she had known me my entire life and knew what I needed before I did. Annie designed a new kitchen for me, completely remodeled two full baths and a powder room, and helped me with choosing new furnishings, light fixtures and accessories for the entire condo. She worked extremely well with my builder (who I also love) and the two of them kept all trades on task and finished the project as promised and on time. When there was an issue with a furniture item that was shipped incorrectly, Annie immediately resolved the issue. Her attention to detail and design are amazing. I was on a week vacation when the project was wrapping up, and Annie made sure things were perfect for when I returned. I walked to my door at 1AM after a long day of traveling and as I looked in the window I felt like I was on an HGTV show. Such a wonderful transformation and it brought tears to my eyes, I felt so spoiled! When my friends and family came by for the first time after the renovations, words like "WOW", and "Beautiful", and "this is a showplace". “Annie K. is a treasure! After a long search my partner and I were thrilled to find our coastal Maine cottage, but it was largely untouched from the 1980's. Basically, it was dated, but not so dated as to be charming :) That is where Annie came in. She helped us update the space (hello beautiful wide white oak floors and ginormous ocean facing window) and at the same time add little charming touches (enter custom backsplash ledge where we display our beach treasures). With Annie’s help our home is not only updated but has a beautiful sense of time and place. The scope included a small addition, new entryway, two redesigned bathrooms, new lighting, new flooring, better flow with moved doorways, and an airbnb ready suite with ocean front deck. I initially debated whether to even work with a designer because “I know what I like”, but it was the absolute best decision because Annie helped refine my vision, prioritize my wants, and best of all execute to make it all a reality. “In 2020, we decided to completely renovate our 1942 bathroom. It's the only full bathroom in a 4 bedroom house so, space was limited and important. She went above and beyond our expectations from room design to staying within our budget. If you have a question, you'll get an answer when she reads it. We loved the finished bathroom so much, we decided to use Annie K for our basement renovation. We started this project in late 2021 and finished in 2022. I will say I was semi-difficult customer because this was going to be MY space. That being said, she worked with me and completely understood where I was coming from. The final result is amazing. If you are wondering if you should hire Annie K for a project the answer is yes. She also has a network of contractors that do work for her. If they work with her, you can trust them and not worry about sub par quality.”
